New German Elvis Stamp

New Elvis stamp in Germany

When the first German Elvis stamp was issued in 1988, it was only available

in West Germany due to the political situation of the German partition. Now

the very first Elvis stamp will be issued since the German reunification. This

amazing project is initiated and proudly presented by well-known artist Carolin Okon of "Elvis Paintings", fully supported by "The King's World". The new stamp is supposed for release on November 9, 2010 featuring one of the best known

Elvis paintings by Mrs. Okon, an August 1970 concert image of the King.

Also available will be a similary designed postcard. The stamp as well as the

postcard cannot be purchased at post offices. Both items will be distributed

directly by Carolin Okon.
