DJ Fontana at Elvis festival in Indiana

Drummer DJ Fontana of Presley's backup band is scheduled to appear at the 19th annual Elvis FANtasy Fest in Portage Oct. 14-16. The event, a fundraiser for the Porter County Special Olympics, draws about 1,500 people annually.

The event will feature five Elvis tribute artists, including a tribute artist contest.

Elvis performed his last concert at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1977 (he died Aug. 16, 1977).
