Million Dollar Quartet on Broadway
Percussion pioneer W.S. “Fluke” Holland was on drums during the one-night jam session in 1956 of four young rock ’n’ roll icons on the rise to stardom.
Decades later, in 2010, he attended the Broadway opening of the musical that brings that meeting and their music to life.
The show — with some theatrical liberties — recounts what happened when the four greats-to-be gathered in Phillips’ Memphis, Tenn. studio.
