Back In Time: June 01, 1956

Elvis made a surprise visit to the Overton Park Shell in Memphis. Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and Warren Smith were performing there.

It was a great show - the Shell was packed with 5000 people in attendance. Elvis didn't sing, but he didn't have to. The girls looked at him, screamed and the place went wild.
