Lisa Marie at The Opry
A Presley Performs At The Opry For The First Time In 58 Years
It was a historic night at the Grand Ole Opry. For the first time in nearly 58 years, a Presley played the iconic show.
Lisa Marie Presley made her Opry debut Tuesday. The packed house rocked as Presley performed a single off her new album “Storm and Grace.”
The daughter of legendary rocker Elvis Presley admitted she had to deal with a case of the nerves.
“I’m just really proud that I could be here. I know what a big deal this is. I’m actually more nervous about this than doing American Idol this last year, so I understand what it’s all about and it’s an honor. ”
Elvis Presley made his only appearance at the Opry back in 1954. He sang his version of the Bill Monroe classic “Blue Moon of Kentucky.”
