Aloha From Sweden DVD + Cd

On the evening of April 3rd, 2004 in a small town north of Gothenburg in Sweden something very special happened. The town of Uddevalla welcomed some very prominent visitors who normally never perform at anything else than huge concert halls and arenas all over the world. But that particular evening was different in many special ways. First of all, the performers were booked to play a small and very intimate 500-seat venue. Secondly, the show was to be recorded and filmed for a possible CD and DVD release. The feeling at the venue was very intense when the original members of Elvis Presley’s TCB Band, James Burton, Ronnie Tutt, Glen D. Hardin and Jerry Scheff accompanied by The Sweet Inspirations, Myrna Smith, Estelle Brown and Portia Griffin as well as the legendary MC Mr. Al “Elvis has left the building” Dvorin finally arrived. The 500 excited Swedish Elvis fans, who were lucky to get their tickets before the show was completely sold out, were waiting to see their heroes perform songs from Elvis’ massive songbook. The band was completed with the addition of the great Dutch singer, Maarten Jansen. Not that many people in Sweden have heard of Maarten before, but the question is, “Did they like what they saw?” Watch this DVD and find out.
