The long awaited project about the beginning of Elvis’ career Memphis Recording Service, Vol. 1 has finally been released now. It’s the British mega collector Joseph Pirzada who has produced this beautiful set. The Memphis Recording Service, Vol. 1 set contains a 5.1 DVD Audio disc, a vinyl pressing of That’s All Right from the original mother stamper and a 100 page beautiful book about the years 1953-54. The vinyl single is a 100 % replica of the original Sun 209 single containing That’s All Right. This single has been pressed directly from the original mother stamper that was used to produce the original single back in July 1954. Last but not least does the Memphis Recording Service, Vol. 1 set contain a beautiful 100 page book. The book takes you thru the years 1953-54 with a lot of rare and unpublished pictures and a very informative text. Many of the pictures in the book has been colourized in a very tasty way.
